Plasma rejuvenation

Skin rejuvenation is the most popular area of modern aesthetic cosmetology. Moreover, progressive non-invasive (without compromising skin integrity) and even non-contact methods of exposure are increasingly being preferred today. And one of the innovative and effective methods is plasma rejuvenation (non-surgical plastic).

plasma skin rejuvenation procedure

Most, if not all, types of skin regeneration are based on the principle of controlled skin damage, causing a regeneration process, which ultimately leads to a reduction in visible signs of aging. The plasma method works the same way, but with a few tricks.

First, the active substance, plasma, is a high-energy ionized gas. Second, the nitrogen used is chemically inert and suppresses tissue combustion, expelling the oxygen needed for the oxidation process. As a result, the skin layers are damaged by plasma (due to heating, splitting and evaporation), but they do not burn as under the action of ablative lasers, therefore no open wounds are created. This approach reduces the risk of side effects such as scarring, infections and discoloration.

What to expect from plasma rejuvenation

Reducing existing age changes, preventing their progression and early appearance. The procedure has a pronounced lifting effect (due to the "evaporation" of the skin flap), smoothes the relief of the skin by reducing the depth of dynamic and static wrinkles, softens the flow of natural wrinkles, improves and evens out skin tone. Moreover, the result does not appear only soon after the beginning of the treatment, but gradually increases over several months. The greatest effect can be expected after approximately 3 months.

There are also reports in medical publications of the successful use of plasma rejuvenation in women who are carrying a child. But we should not forget that physiological hormonal changes during pregnancy affect the condition of the skin and can change the efficiency of the procedure.

  9. Kidney and liver damage.

How the procedure is conducted

Plasma facial rejuvenation does not require special training, prior adherence to any diet, or changes in normal lifestyle. But a few days before the session, it is recommended not to use aggressive peels and peels, visit the solarium, and people prone to allergic reactions should not try new products and cosmetics.

When using the device, even patients with a low pain threshold do not need local anesthesia. The healing / rejuvenation session lasts 15-30 minutes, the duration depends on the severity of the problem and the area of the treated area.

The patient is sitting in a cosmetic chair or on the couch, and the specialist who performs the procedure, non-contact, directs a pulsating jet or jet of plasma from the top of the device to her skin. At the same time, it is possible to choose the mode of operation that is most appropriate for a given patient. The session usually begins with a pre-treatment of the skin to prepare for subsequent stronger effects and to reduce the intensity of the sensations experienced. After the procedure, the treated area does not need to be applied. In the next 3 days it is advisable to refrain from peeling, peeling, visiting the beach and solarium.

The recommended number of procedures is 1-2 procedures per year.
